Title: March Ants Out Of Your Home For Good Word Count: 354 Summary: If irritating ants have found their way into your home and invaded your life, you are not alone. Keywords: March Ants Out Of Your Home For Good Article Body: If irritating ants have found their way into your home and invaded your life, you are not alone. According to research conducted by the National Pest Management Association, 25 percent of homeowners say ants are their main pest concern. This same study revealed that more than half of all homeowners have had problems with ants-making them the most prevalent pest nationwide. In addition to being a general nuisance, these bothersome pests can cause significant damage in your home by destroying wood and contaminating your food. Once they've invaded your house, ants are one of the most difficult pests to control. The National Pest Management Association offers five tips to keep those unwelcome ants out of your home once and for all: 1. In many cases, ants enter your home in search of food. You can keep ants out by keeping your kitchen spotless and removing all accessible food sources. Always keep food, especially sweets, in clean, airtight containers. Rinse out recyclable containers, take garbage outside regularly and store it in sealed containers. Be sure to wipe down all countertops frequently with soap and water, and clean up any grease or spills immediately. 2. Avoid leaving pet food dishes out for long periods of time. You can create a moat to keep ants away from your pet food by placing the dish inside another shallow, larger dish with an inch of water in it. 3. Caulk and seal all cracks and crevices around your home's foundation that could provide entry from the outside, especially those areas leading to the kitchen where food is prepared. Trim any tree branches and shrubs that touch the outside of the house to prevent ants from gaining access to the house. 4. Eliminate sources of moisture or standing water that may attract ants. It is important to get any plumbing leaks fixed right away. 5. If ants do find their way into your house despite these precautions and they prove too big a pest to handle, always seek the help of a licensed pest professional. A pest professional will be able to identify which species of ants are present and can help you control the problem.

Keywords: Pregnancy, Pregnancy Symptoms, Complications Article Body: Noah is nine years old and in the second class. He was considered to be in the third grade this year, but he has had regular enigmas learning in school. His attention duration is not what other kids' are, and in fact, he suffers from little mental retardation. In addition, inferior hearing also hinders his performance at school. And it could all have been prevented if his mother had not drunk -- and drunk heavily -- while pregnant with her child. There's a reason that doctors tell pregnant women not to drink alcohol during their pregnancy. There are several known neurological, physical and mental issues that can cause if you drink alcohol during this period. These disorders all lie in the category known as FASD: "Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders." The best known of these issues are Fetal Alcohol Effects (or "FAE") and Fetal Alcohol Syndrome (or "FAS"). Within the category of Fetal Alcohol Effects are two sub-categories: Alcohol Related Neurodevelopmental Disorder (or "ARND") and Alcohol Related Birth disorders (or "ARBD"). Fetal Alcohol Syndrome is a tragic condition, since it is totally cureable. FAS causes mental retardation in the child, deformities in the skeleton and some parts, growthdeficiencies, poor motor skills, problems with the nervous system, understanding problems, insufficiency in the attention span and with talk, hearing and problem-solving. It can also cause death. FAS also known to cause certain facial features in the baby. Some of these include an upturned or short nose, smaller than normal eyes, thin lips, and flat cheeks. While these features will go away over time, most of the other difficulties will last throughout the child's lifetime. As mentioned, Fetal Alcohol Effects come in two major categories. These are Alcohol Related Neurodevelopmental Disorder and Alcohol Related Birth Defects. The first category (ARND) refers to conduct and mental problems such as poor output at school, learning disabilities, insufficient impulse control, memory problems, and problems with judgment and giving heed span. The second category (or ARBD) refers to skeletal malformations, and also deformities in major organs (the kidneys, heart, auditory system, or even the bones). While related, Fetal Alcohol Effects are not similar from Fetal Alcohol Syndrome. FAE results from a moderate amount of drinking during the pregnancy. FAS results from an extreme amount of drinking alcohol throughout the pregnancy, including drinking on a daily basis or binge drinking. Regardless of whether it's FAS or FAE, the results are still lifelong, irreversible, and tragic. The reason is that it is not safe to drink any alcohol while pregnant--period. However, the more you drink, the more you put your baby at danger. So how do the mom-to-be prevent Fetal Alcohol Effects and Fetal Alcohol Syndrome? It's quite obvious: She must abstain from all alcohol while pregnant. If she does this, there is no chance -- zero -- of having a child with either FAE or FAS. To find out more about this particular subject, call (800) 666-6327. That's the number for the National Organization on Fetal Alcohol Syndrome, and they would be delighted to remind you information.

This is Making a game of moving Amazing

Title: Making a game of moving Word Count: 527 Summary: Just over a week ago I was told I had to pack up and move yet again to another apartment. This brings the number to 3 times in only a year and a half. Needless to say I was not too happy. It became evident to me that the more I resisted the idea, the worse I felt about it, so I decided to go with the flow and make my move into an exciting game. I started looking forward to the move, was excited to see my new apartment, used the opportunity to get rid of clutter and was able to support a charity in the process. My move truly turned out to be quite an adventure and a great learning experience. Keywords: Article Body: Just over a week ago I was told I had to pack up and move yet again to another apartment. When the movers knocked at my door it had started snowing heavily and there was not a single sole who could speak English. However this did not dampen my spirits and we managed very well. It turned out that I found some very willing translators, all the administrators were very understanding and the movers were extremely speedy and efficient despite the weather. Four days later I was completely moved, unpacked and settled in. My phone was reconnected, I had high-speed Internet access, the TV cable guys arrived a day early and I was once again part of the real world. I can honestly say that it could not have gone more smoothly had I been in my home country. On reflection I noted that life is life wherever we are. We could be in Korea, South Africa or the USA, but life situations happen on a daily basis. In essence this is the very nature of life. There is no escaping it. But, what we often fail to recognize is that it is during these life situations that we are presented with the opportunities that help us to grow and become better people. When obstacles present themselves, ease and facilitate an easy transition or find a solution by asking How can I make this work? and not Why is this happening to me? One of the things that disempowers us in life is when we take ourselves too seriously. We could lighten up a bit, have more fun and enjoy things more. Treat life like a game. This does mean to undermine the seriousness of certain events, but when we view life as a game, we are able to be more effective in finding solutions and enjoying the process. When I decided to treat my move as a game and adventure, miracles happened. People went out of their way to help me, I moved into a dream apartment and I now wake up in the morning with a view second to none. Quote of the week Life is a challenge, meet it! Life is a dream, realize it! Life is a game, play it! Life is Love, enjoy it! Sri Sathya Sai Baba This weeks challenge How would you feel about playing the game? Use this tool with a life situation this week and if you have difficulties in taking this approach, ask yourself this one question: What is the worst thing that could happen?
